The purpose of the Chapter shall be to promote the discipline of Optical Science and Engineering through the organized effort of this group in study, research, and discussion; to disseminate knowledge of the field of Optical Engineering; and to further the professional development of the students. The Chapter shall promote membership in SPIE by acquainting the student body with the ideas, purposes, and objectives of SPIE. --PSU SPIE Constitution
